Warm-up: We start the lesson with Hello song. We move a lot while singing. We sit down in a circle and play Chinese whispers. We practise words, phrases and sentences. We talked about the weather, say a winter chant and play with a snow-cotton. We talk about our feeling about things. We play finger puppet theatre with Sally and Peter, we practise greetings.
Topic: We say Story time rhyme, bring pillows and sit down. We listen to the story and follow it in our Small books. We talk about the characters and the plot of the story. We listen and circle the required number of animals in the book. We practise numbers and colours.
Follow-up: We play a game with clothes. We put some clothes on if we are cold and take them off if we are warm. We say a chant while tidying-up. We are awarded by a sticker for our smiley-book and a clothes sheet for our pictionary. We play Goodbye chant and give a huge hug and a big kiss to Cookie.

What’s more
Practise the following game:
Bring as many clothes as you can. Ask your child if s/he is cold. If yes, tell to put e.g. a T-shirt on. Now it's your child's turn. Let them ask if you are cold. Say yes and put some clothes on. Ask again your child and again tell to put some more clothes on. The principle of this game is to put on as many pieces of clothes as possible.
