Warm-up: We start the lesson with Welcome back song. We greet each other and talk about ourselves. We sit down in a circle and talk about weather. We mime it. We stand up and practise left and right while moving. We say the Little Snowflake chant and revise body parts. We listen to the Betty the cow song and play a game: we should find the right flower as soon as possible. We bring our homework and talk about presents in our stockings. We revise colours and numbers.
Topic: We open our Mini Books and cut out puppets while listening to songs and chants. We listen to the story and play with our mini puppets. We say the story with the recording. We do the worksheet: we listen to the CD-player and we put stickers to the right places.
Follow-up: We follow the recording and use different colours for different numbers. We talk about our homework: it's a flower which we should decorate with our favourite colour. We are rewarded by stickers. We say bye-bye.
